Hello, this is me, Jodie Farrell, doing what I love best, using textured, seasonal, raw materials to give you wedding flowers inspired by gardens and hedgerows. I love the twisting rambling nature of flowers and the way they vary throughout the season, the way a garden rose opens slowly into the most magnificent bloom with so many layers of beauty and the way that a tiny seed grows into something incredible. I hold a deep love for our world and so try to make choices that feel sustainable, favouring creating arrangements in a way that doesn't involve floral foam (did you know that it doesn't degrade?) and using as many homegrown or English flowers as I can.
I am closely connected to The Walled Garden at Mells (hence my name) where I lived with my husband and our eldest for the first three years of his life. I love holding consultations there where we can immerse ourselves in the stunning backdrop of rambling perennial flowers whilst having a cuppa and talking about your day, drawing inspiration from your ideas to give you flowers full of love, excitement and earthy touches.
To describe my flowers, I would say....rustic and textured with a wild side. Have a look through my gallery photos, or click below to go through to Pinterest and Instagram.
